Common problems
I can't hear Pappi
Turn off silent mode (the switch or the Action Button), turn the volume up, and check that the sound isn't going to Bluetooth headphones. Another app playing sound — music, a video, a call — can take the audio over: pause it and start Pappi again.
Back Tap doesn't do anything
Open Settings → Accessibility → Touch → Back Tap → Double Tap and check that “Talk to Pappi” is selected. Tap firmly near the Apple logo; some thick cases block it. Still nothing? Run the shortcut once from the Shortcuts app and allow what it asks.
There's a red indicator at the top of my screen
That's screen sharing — it means Pappi can see your screen. It's on only because you turned it on. Tap the red indicator and Stop to turn it off.
Pappi says I'm out of questions
Free questions come back on the 1st of each month; paid plans on your renewal date. In the app: Balance → Plans to upgrade or add questions.
Pappi doesn't see what I'm looking at
Turn on screen sharing in Pappi (“Let Pappi see my screen”). Without it, take a screenshot → Share → Pappi.
Delete my account
In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. This erases your conversations, memory and questions. A subscription is cancelled separately in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
