Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Anomonus FZCO (Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates) about using Pappi — the HeyPappi iPhone app and heypappi.com. By using Pappi you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

1. What Pappi is

Pappi is a voice assistant. You start it with a gesture, it can look at your screen (when you share it) or your camera, and it answers out loud. It can also start actions on your iPhone — open an app, set a timer, prepare a message — which you finish yourself.

Pappi's answers are generated by AI and can be wrong. Don't rely on them for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions, and check anything important. Pappi isn't a substitute for a professional or for emergency services.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 17 (the App Store age rating) and able to agree to these terms. You can use Pappi as a guest or sign in with Apple, Google or email. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you're responsible for what happens in your account.

3. Questions, plans and top-ups

• Pappi counts talking time in seconds, shown as questions: 1 question = 40 seconds of conversation, from the moment a conversation opens until it closes.
• The Free plan includes 15 questions a month. They come back on the 1st of each month (UTC). Unused questions don't roll over.
• Paid plans (Plus, Pro, Max) are auto-renewing subscriptions, monthly or yearly. Each gives a number of questions every month from your purchase date — yearly plans too — and a longer maximum for a single conversation. Unused plan questions don't roll over.
• A top-up adds 22 questions to any plan. It lasts 90 days and is used after your plan's questions.
• Fair use. Each plan has a per-conversation limit; when it's reached, Pappi says goodbye and the conversation ends. You can start a new one right away. We may limit accounts that look automated or abusive.
• Deleting a conversation from History doesn't give its questions back.
• We may change plans, prices or what they include. Changes to a paid plan apply from your next renewal, and we'll tell you before they do.

4. Payment, renewal, cancelling and refunds

You buy subscriptions and top-ups in the app through Apple's App Store. Apple charges you, and Apple's terms apply to the payment. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before — in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. After cancelling you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com; we can't issue them ourselves. Nothing in these terms limits refund or withdrawal rights you have under the law of your country.

5. Using Pappi fairly

Please don't use Pappi to:

• cheat — in exams, tests, job interviews or anywhere else the rules say you must do it yourself;
• break the law, or help anyone else break it;
• harass, threaten, or deceive people, or share other people's private information without a good reason;
• get around our limits (for example with fake accounts or fake invites), or attack, overload or reverse-engineer the service;
• distract you when you need your attention elsewhere — like driving.

We may suspend or close accounts that do these things.

6. Your content

What you say, show and type to Pappi stays yours. You give us permission to process it only to run Pappi for you — answer you, keep your History and memory, and show pages you choose to share. If you create a share link, anyone with the link can see that question and answer until you remove it. Our Privacy Policy explains what we keep and for how long.

7. Actions

Pappi only starts actions that iOS allows, and you finish them: you tap Send on a message, confirm a call, and so on. You're responsible for what you send or do with them.

8. Other services

Pappi relies on other companies — OpenAI for the voice and answers, Apple for the App Store and iOS, Supabase for accounts and data. If one of them has an outage, Pappi may not work for a while.

9. Changes and availability

We keep improving Pappi, which means features can change or be removed. We try to keep it running, but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app first.

10. Limits of our liability

Pappi is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on Pappi's answers, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50 if that's more. None of this limits liability that can't be limited by law — for example for gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.

11. Ending

You can stop using Pappi and delete your account any time (in the app: Settings → Account → Delete account). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms; if we close a paid account without a good reason, we'll refund the unused part.

12. Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for Pappi or its content, has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for it, and isn't responsible for claims about it (including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property claims). If Pappi fails to meet a warranty, you can tell Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. You confirm you're not in a country under a US embargo and not on a US list of prohibited parties.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and disputes go to the courts of Dubai. If you're a consumer in the EU or elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and can also bring a claim there.
